IBM Lotus and SAP have been working closely together for some time now and offer a variety of ways to integrate your SAP business data. With the demand for SAP skills rising throughout the world, it makes sense to look at new ways of extending your SAP data into a more cost-effective environment.
One area of interest we are watching closely is the development of IBM Lotus Atlantic – a joint development initiative between IBM and SAP. This solution will provide the capability to configure and customise each user's unique SAP environment, then present the SAP system options to the user specific to their role and license rights. We are still eagerly awaiting the release date and will provide more information upon its worldwide release.
